This year, MSHA awarded $250K in Brookword-Sago grants! Each of the five recipients are being given $50K to use towards training programs and materials in order to identify, avoid and prevent unsafe mine working conditions! The recipients of these grants are the Colorado Department of Natural Resources, Illinois Eastern Community College, Oconee Fall Line Technical College, Pennsylvania State University and Virginia Department of Mines, Minerals and Energy.
