Congratulations to the 2026 Florida Mining Hall of Fame Inductee, Rob Seaborn!
Rob Seaborn (Mosaic) will be inducted into Florida’s Mining Hall of Fame in recognition of leadership that reflects the Hall of Fame’s core values: Respect, Integrity, Success, and Engagement (RISE). Rob has consistently exemplified these principles through a deep commitment to mine rescue and emergency response. He has provided critical feedback during Task Force sessions, supported training classes with essential materials and personnel, and helped lead field drills that have strengthened the quality and realism of Florida’s Surface Mining Contests. His steady involvement has helped elevate safety readiness and emergency response culture across our industry.
Rob began his career with Mosaic in 2013 in operations, advancing to Maintenance Trainee in 2014 and becoming a qualified mechanic in 2016. In 2022, he stepped into the role of Safety Coordinator at Mosaic’s Four Corners mine bringing hands-on field experience to safety leadership. Rob’s passion for emergency response has been clear from the start. He has served on the facility’s Emergency Response Team since 2014 and has been the site’s ERT Lead for more than six years. His drive and dedication have played a key role in improving training quality, strengthening participation, and increasing team engagement and performance at Mosaic.
A committed competitor and contributor, Rob has been instrumental in both the annual Tallahassee Surface Mine Rescue competition and Mosaic’s internal mine rescue events. Known for his reliability and genuine care for others, Rob is the kind of leader coworkers trust and the person you want on scene when it matters most.
