Jesse Gegg is a highly skilled and experienced safety and mining professional with over 20 years of hands-on experience in the construction, mining, and general industry sectors. Specializing in maintenance and repair, Jesse has dedicated 15+ years to underground mining across both coal and metal, non-metal operations. His expertise spans across a wide range of safety standards and regulations, including USCG, DOT, MSHA, and OSHA.
Jesse holds a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health and is a Journeyman Carpenter through the Carpenter’s Union of St. Louis, having completed a rigorous apprenticeship program. His deep commitment to safety in the workplace has earned him numerous accolades, including the 2007 MSHA Contractor of the Year and the 2019 Sentinels of Safety Award. In 2024, he was recognized with the MLC Safety Award for his outstanding contributions to mine safety, and his team’s excellence in mine rescue has led to several Regional Mine Rescue Awards.
Certified as a Safety Professional (CSP), Jesse is a recognized authority in safety training and holds multiple certifications, including:
